- Television‘s shortened URL links mistakenly refer to three video clips with the same short URL: tvcrit.com/find/atwt. The correct shortened URLS are:
- p. 69: reference to Meg Ryan’s gestural performance should be
- p. 198: reference to As the World Turns‘ credits should be
- p. 316: reference to multiple-camera editing in As the World Turns should be
- p. xiv: “so it has been divided it into two chapters” should be “so it has been divided into two chapters”.
- p. 13: “One thing that is already clear is that is that the TV industry…” should be “One thing that is already clear is that the TV industry…” (Thanks to reader Kristina Weiserova for catching this one!)
- p. 265, in Table 8.1: “broacast” (three times) should be “broadcast”.
Thank you for this great new edition,I love to studying from this new one!
I appreciate so much how actual it is. In czech language, you can´t find anything as good.
Thank you also for this advice to correct a few mistakes in my book. Thank you a lot! Best wishes from Czech republic – Prague
Hello again, I FOUND ANOTHER MISTAKE in the 4th edition:
3.
p. 13: Halting the Flow: Television in the Postnetwork Era – there in the second paragraph the first sentence: ”One thing that is already clear is that is that the TV industry has entered an era of convergence from which there is no going back” should be ”one thing that is already clear is that the TV industry has entered an era of convergence from which there is no going back”.
Thanks for catching that, Kristina! I’ll add it to the list.
Let me know if you catch anything else.
Regards,
Jeremy
